Performance Capabilities
Ford’s electric crossover takes style to the streets, combining the Mustang’s sleek, sculpted design with the spacious interior of a compact SUV. The Mach-E packs some serious power as well, with base models achieving between 266 and 346 horsepower.
The Mustang Mach-E GT produces 480 horsepower, ensuring even the most eco-friendly driver experiences the thrill of the drive. The speediest trims go from zero to 60 mph in just 5.1 seconds! Plus, the Mustang GT Performance Edition boasts an impressive 634 lb-ft of torque!
Independent rear suspension provides the smooth ride that electric car drivers crave, keeping you comfy on the road ahead. High performance packages and handling packages are available as well to meet the needs of every driver.
The 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E is available with a standard-range battery (75.7 kWh, 68 usable) or an extended-range battery (98.8 kWh, 88 usable). The extended-range battery has an EPA estimated range just over 300 miles for California Route 1 models, beating 2020 Tesla models.
Interior Features and Innovative Technology
Ford positions the Mach-E’s battery under the floor to optimize both passenger and cargo space. While traditional vehicles’ engines take up space under the hood, this innovative electric car has a front trunk instead! The “frunk” is even waterproof.
Inside the comfortable cabin you’ll find a 360-degree camera and streamlined dash. Heated front seats and steering wheel add yet another touch of luxury, along with a top-of-the-line sound system for epic road trip jam sessions. And be sure to check out the 15.5-inch infotainment screen, featuring Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and mobile WiFi hotspot.
The FordPass app helps you find nearby charging stations, even allowing you to search for plugs that charge faster or are part of the FordPass network. Plus, you can pay seamlessly after charging up! The app even shows your car’s current battery level and charging speed.
