2022 Ford Expedition Redesigned With More Options

The Ford Expedition has been a family favorite for years, offering plenty of space for passengers and cargo without sacrificing style. Now the 2022 Expedition comes equipped with even more must-have features!

New Trim and Performance Package Highlights 

Ford has added an additional trim level to its latest model: the 2022 Expedition Timberline. Off-road riders are eager to get behind the wheel of the Timberline model – and to experience the Expedition’s wild side.

First offered on the Explorer, the Timberline trim boasts the following:

• Higher ground clearance to clear obstacles with ease
• Trail Turn Assist to improve handling around tight turns 
• Rugged exterior styling with 33-inch all-terrain tires
• Ford F-150 Raptor heavy-duty underbody skid plate
• Distinctive grille and orange exterior accents

Drivers can also customize their 2022 Ford Expedition with the new Stealth Edition Performance Package (available on Limited and Limited Max models). Designed with adventure in mind, the package combines best-in-class power with sport-tuned suspension to boost confidence on the backroads. 

New Driver Assist Technology

The 2022 Ford Expedition offers the most available driver assist features in its class, including Ford BlueCruise. This innovative technology identifies Hands-Free Blue Zones, allowing drivers to remove their hands from the steering wheel on pre-qualified sections of divided highway. Hands-Free Blue Zones span more than 100,000 miles of roads across North America! Eye-tracking ensures drivers continue to pay attention and are ready to take control if necessary.

Originally offered only on the F-150 and Mustang Mach-E, BlueCruise is offered via over-the-air software updates. Platinum models come standard with Ford BlueCruise. Additional safety features include adaptive cruise control, lane centering capabilities and more! 

Take a look inside the cabin for interior upgrades and infotainment improvements. The 2022 Ford Expedition offers SYNC 4 (standard) but drivers can add the SYNC 4A system with 15.5-inch high-def touch display – the largest available screen in its class!
