2022 Ford F-150 Raptor Tackles The Toughest Terrain

Ford has confirmed that the Raptor R will be even more powerful, with a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine producing an incredible 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque. This puts the Raptor R in the top spot, knocking the RAM TRX – and its 702 horsepower – down a peg.

Key Performance Features 

The newest Ford Raptor looks good inside and out, now standard with a 12-inch digital productivity screen and SYNC 4 infotainment system. But it’s what’s hidden under the hood that puts the Raptor in a category all its own. Here’s what you need to know:

Engine

The 2022 Ford F-150 Raptor features a 450-horsepower twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, now with a prominent heat extractor. The high-output engine inhales through a new 3.0-inch exhaust system, and produces 510 lb-ft of torque. No other four-wheel-drive pickup truck can compare!

Suspension 

The new Raptor offers a 5-link independent suspension setup, now standard with 35-inch tires and an optional Torsen front limited slip differential. Perfect for off-roading, this model is built with a 12-inch gap that acts as ground clearance – plus, a 31-degree approach angle! 37-inch BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A® KO2 tires are on offer, but don’t worry, steps come standard to ensure easy entry/exit!

Sport Tuned Shock Absorbers 

Be sure to check out the custom front and rear Fox racing shock absorbers with innovative Live Valve technology – the largest-ever shocks on a Raptor pickup truck!  Rear coil springs replace traditional leaf springs, making the Raptor the only F-150 model to get them.
