Spacious Interior Cabin
Both the standard Expedition and the larger Expedition MAX have plenty of cargo room for transporting everything from groceries to sports equipment to luggage.
In the standard Expedition, you’ll have 20.9 cubic feet of cargo room behind the third row, with the seats fully upright. With the third row folded, there are 63.6 cubic feet. Fold both the second and third rows and get a generous 104.6 cubic feet of cargo space! The MAX has slightly more overall space, offering a total of 121.5 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded.
Both Expedition models have seating for up to eight. Choose from a second-row bench or captain’s chairs to customize your seating to your family’s needs. Note that the King Ranch MAX is only available with 7-passenger seating.
2024 Ford Expedition Technology & Safety Features
There’s no shortage of tech features in the 2024 Expedition. It’s equipped with a 12-inch standard infotainment screen, connected navigation, and Wi-Fi capability. Higher trim levels have a 15.5-inch display and SiriusXM Radio with 360L.
Keep your devices charged with the standard two USB ports in the first row. Higher trims also have two ports in the third row.
The Ford Co-Pilot360 safety suite is standard and comes with lane-keeping assist, pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, and much more.
If you opt for the heavy-duty tow package, you’ll have trailer coverage in Ford Co-Pilot360’s blind spot information system.
Power and Towing Capability
Under the hood, you’ll find a robust 3.5L EcoBoost V6 GTDi DOHC 24V Twin Turbocharged engine and smooth 10-speed automatic transmission. This allows the Expedition to tackle both city roads and rugged terrains with ease.
If you do a lot of towing, you’ll love knowing that the Expedition is more than capable. The Expedition 4×2 models are the strongest, with a max towing capacity of up to 9,300 pounds. The Expedition 4×4 models have a slightly lower towing capacity of up to 9,200 pounds. All MAX models can tow up to 9,000 pounds.
