The new all-electric F-150 is powered by dual electric motors with the option of a standard-range battery or an extended-range battery. The standard battery provides 452 horsepower and an estimated 420 miles of range. The extended range battery, which comes standard on the FLASH, LARIAT, and Platinum trims, cranks the horsepower up to 580 and provides an estimated 320 miles of driving range.
The XLT trim boasts a conventional towing capacity of 5,000 pounds, while the Flash and Lariat trims have a standard towing capacity of 7,700 pounds. When equipped with the optional Max Trailer Towing package, you can enjoy a max towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, depending on the trim.
You’ll have four selectable driving modes to conquer any terrain: normal, off-road, sport, and tow/haul.
In addition to performance-enhancing features, you’ll have access to various smart technology, including towing assist features. Pro trailer hitch assist will be a fast favorite, making the towing process easy. The F-150 Lighting also comes with:
